I'm enrolled in a three years illustration course and this is a school project. Pinocchio is a very famous italian children story, written in 1883. We were asked to work on a short version, by Jaca Books publisher.

The Blue Fairy is one of the character (a sort of Cinderella fairy godmother) and has blue hair.
The Green Wise Cricket is another one.
In this illustration I payed homage to Alphonse Mucha, a great Art Nouveau master I love, and conceived my Fairy as an Art Nouveau sad and young lady.

In this illustration the Cat and the Fox are robbing Pinocchio a moment before hanging him (!). Old children stories are incredibly cruel...
In this illustration Pinocchio is hungry and trying to fry an egg. But the chick escape and fly away.
